DCDNC/DCDNT looks for Mr. Antolele

Perkenalkan sahabat baik saya, Mr. Antolele. figur yang amat sebetulnya teraba sangat kasar dan gelap terlihat dari luar, namun sejatinya sangat ramah, halus dan terang di dalamnya. Tapi jangan percaya begitu saja dengan penilaian saya, mungkin itu bagian dari tipu dayanya saja :D. Nilai kehadiran penuh di setiap acara budaya anak muda menjadikan dia seorang sosialita nomor wahid di dunia bawah tanah di Yogyakarta, dan sekarang dengan bermodalkan predikatnya itu, semangat dan mimpinya, dia menantang Jakarta. Pribadi yang ramah dengan beberapa tanda identitas visual berupa: kumis lebat, sepeda tinggi, jaket jins tanpa lengan dengan patch buluk tertempel di punggungnya. saya memberikan dia tampilan DCDNC/DCDNT pada fotonya. terimakasih Mr. Antolele, untuk ruang cerita, waktu berbagi dan segala sesuatunya. cheers. cesss...

Meet a good friend of mine, Mr. Antolele. looks very rough and dark  from the outside, but actually very smooth and light in it. But don't just believe my words, maybe that's part of his tricks :D. A full attendance at almost every Yogyakarta's youth culture event back in the days, makes him a number one socialite in the Yogyakarta underground scene, and now with that predicate, his passion and his dream, he challenged Jakarta. A very very friendly friend with this identity marks: bushy mustache, tall bikes, sleeveless denim jacket with patches pasted on the back. I gave him this DCDNC / DCDNT looks on his picture. Thankyou Mr. Antolele, for share a space and time for my stories, and everything. cheers. cesss... 

once upon a stage at Solo

 

begitu banyak cerita tersimpan di cakram keras di komputer saya, menunggu untuk di umbar di blog roll ini. seperti membongkar kotak memori, dan serta merta ruh dari foto, tulisan ataupun coretan-coretan saya berterbangan memenuhi ruangan. ijinkan saya membagi polah saya di libstud, jenny, dan apa saja yang pernah terekam. seperti jimi bilang, semua terekam tak pernah mati.
saya mulai dengan foto set ini. ini adalah jenny, berpanggung di solo, jawa tengah, pada 10 maret 2010. adalah sebuah lobi hotel yang sempit, gelap, lembab yang jadi panggungnya. Cukup horor tapi setidaknya, panggung ini tanpa barikade, dan kami sangat menyukainya. seingat saya, malam itu cukup dingin oleh hujan, namun menjadi sangat hangat oleh teman-teman solo. foto di ambil oleh kawan Satya Anindita 

so many stories stored on my hard disk, waiting to be told. such like unpacked a memory boxes, and suddenly the spirit of photographs, writings, or drawings flying fill the room. let me share whatever happened in libstud, jenny, and anything me, that ever recorded. like Jimi said, all recorded never die.

let's started with this photoset. this is jenny, in solo, central java, on 10 March 2010. is a hotel lobby became the stage. quite narrow, dark and damp, but at least, this stage is without barricade, so we can spit on each other easily, and we loved it..hha. As I remember, that was pretty cold night, but it quickly change into very warm, raw gigs with all our Solo friends. this photo taken by Satya Anindita 

libstud

Ini adalah liberated studio. Sebuah rumah kontrakan sederhana yang cukup tua. Beralamatkan di jl. Kinanthi gg. Gambang no. 8 Condong Catur, Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Saya sudah tinggal di rumah ini kurang lebih selama dua tahun. Ruangan paling besarnya berukuran sekitar 8x6 meter saya gunakan untuk studio melukis. Beberapa ruangan lain saya gunakan sebagai kamar tidur, gudang, dapur dan  lemari pakaian.

oleh kebanyakan teman-teman saya, rumah ini di sebut dengan LIB, itu karena di samping pintu depan rumah ini saya tempeli tanda huruf LIB sebagai singkatan dari liberated studio. Saya tinggal sendiri bersama 2 kucing bernama koka dan kola, milik saya dan mantan pacar saya. belakangan saya berbagi ruang dan waktu dengan sahabat saya Moks Timofeevic, dia adalah fotografer dan pembangun sepeda fixie. Jenny, band saya, juga menggunakan rumah ini sebagai tempat berkumpul. foto ini di ambil oleh Moks, saat saya sedang menyelesaikan panel 4 dan 5 dari seri lukisan DCDNC/DCDNT.selamat datang di LIB, anda semua di undang ke rumah ini.

This is liberated studio. Quite old, modest, rented house at jl. Kinanthi gg. Gambang no. 8 Condong catur Depok Sleman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I have stayed at this house for about two years. the largest room in this house are about 8x6 meter wide, I use for my paint works studio. there are some other room I use as a bedroom, cellar, kitchen and wardrobe room.
most of my friends called this house as LIB, as an abbreviation of the Liberated studio, i pasted a brass metal made LIB letters signage near to the front door. I live alone in this house with two my and my ex-girlfriend's cats named koka and kola, but recently I shared my space and time with my best friend Moks Timofeevic which is a photographer and fixie bike builder. my band jenny, also use this house as a meeting place. this photo was taken by Moks Timofeevic when i was working on my 4th and 5th panel of DCDNC/DCDNT painting series. welcome to the LIB, you are all invited 

Liberate and Affairs

AFFAIRS is a my fashion line brand. born at yogyakarta in July 2009 with my co-Founder Mario Andriyono. After had researched for 7 months, they launched the first season of their product, called DEAD PLAIN LUST, and then the second season at january 2011 which named DCDNC/DCDNT. AFFAIRS was made by concern at human basic need, especially in apparel, for now. They truly concern about how to make comfort apparel, by choose the material, research the measurement, cutting, and always do innovation. All of it do by the heart of product-making. All of the complex process are boiled everyday and wish it could arrived simple and easily to be achieved by you and answer your basic need of apparel. As they really think how the above or your below size are still comfortable to be wore. back to basic, and be as simple as possible is all the key to our concept. Ok, don’t think too hard about the kitchen, if you want to understand, you should wear it. And feel it. AFFAIRS is not perfect. But it’s better. this is the link to AFFAIRS brand blog roll.
